On December 12, 2008 Fr. Thomas Moylan offcially initiated his parish work with a special Installation Mass officiated by the Bishop of Phoenix. Mr. Thomas Ryan and three students flew to Arizona to represent Oaklawn Academy at this important event. |

Alejandro Robina (Oaklawn 2003-2004) recently obtained First Place in his category in the "Campeonato Nacional de Salto" organized by "Federacion Ecuestre Mexicana".

Auditorium Project Completed 8/25/2006 |
|
During the summer we were able to complete the project of upgrading our Auditorium facility. This project included new seats, carpeting, a bigger screen, new projector and some work on the walls and ceiling. We are very happy with the results! |

July 10, 2006 was the big day for Jose Luis Granados. He and Carol Ivette Avila received the Sacrament of Marriage in San Antonio, Texas.

Oaklawn´s Gym Renewed 2/10/2006 |
|
As part of Oaklawn's master plan, the south gym has gone through a major renewal during the past three months. The whole ceiling was changed, the walls and floor were repainted and all the equipment was renewed to better serve our students and to help keep Oaklawn's facilities up to date. |

From October 30 to November 1 we celebrated Oaklawn Academy's 20th anniversay with an alumni reunion. Former students from the classes of 1984 to 1995 visited the academy for a weekend of fun and memories. |

Carlos Salazar was an Oaklawn student in Cheshire from 1985 to 1986. In 1987 he came back to Oaklawn to study 8th grade, this time in Wisconsin.
This summer, Carlos Salazar Jr. was a camper in Camp Koshkonong, Oaklawn's summer program. We were very glad to receive a second generation student and we hope to see more each year. |
